Kim, who is of Korean descent, has had a textbook career to date, and is regarded as the greatest US talent since Tiger Woods. Last year, he impressed people with four top-ten finishes in his rookie season on the PGA TOUR. He followed this in 2008 with two tournament victories at the Wachovia Championship and the AT&T National. An excellent season not only put him in a good position going into the play-offs, but also secured the 23-year-old his Ryder Cup debut.
